No Census for ACORN

It looks like ACORN won't be helping with the census after all. On Friday, the U.S. Census Bureau severed its ties with the group (1). The Census Bureau said in its letter, "Unfortunately, we no longer have confidence that our national partnership agreement is being effectively managed through your many local offices. For the reasons stated, we therefore have decided to terminate the partnership." (2)

This is coming after ACORN workers were caught on tape telling how to lie to the IRS (3); trying to list fictitious names and even Paul Newman (4); trying to register Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck, and even the starting lineup for the Dallas Cowboys in Nevada (5); turning in 1,800 registrations and only 6 turn out to be valid (6); helping to make sure 105% of Indiana's population are registered to vote (7); and bullying banks into dubious loans (8).

This is just the tip of the iceberg with these criminals. Do a search for "acorn fraud" and you will turn up all kinds of results. They are filthy to the core.

And, of course, the media aren't covering the story of ACORN telling people how to lie to the IRS (9).
