FCC 'Diversity Chief' Picks Sides

FCC Chief Diversity Officer Mark Lloyd made an argument in a 2007 report he penned for the liberal Center for American Progress, saying he believes progressives should challenge conservative moguls like Rush Limbaugh and Rupert Murdoch (owner of Fox News, among others).

The original article he penned discusses the FCC's decision to allow real estate investor Sam Zell to buy the Chicago Tribune and was written for the liberal Center for American Progress.

He says, "Will progressives sound like FDR and commit to creating a media policy that actually serves democracy and promotes diverse and antagonistic sources of news?"

Now, we all know how good the liberal media is about promoting "diverse and antagonistic sources of news" with the way they have actively campaigned for Barack Obama, John Kerry and Al Gore. And let's not forget the bang-up job they have done calling those who oppose the liberal health care agenda names.

The original article can be found here.
