Yet Another Video of ACORN Helping Skirt the Law

Independent filmmaker James O'Keefe, along with Heather Giles, went into the ACORN offices in San Bernardino , California, and asked for help with housing. The pair were posing as a prostitute and an aspiring politician who wanted to use the money for his campaign. They wanted to run prostitution and child prostitution.

They met with Tresa Kaelke, who was the only one in the office. She told them she worked one time as a prostitute and even killed an abusive husband. She said she is connected with several politicians and named names -- U.S. Sen. Barbara Boxer, Rep. Joe Baca and State Sen. Gloria Negrete McLeod. All of them denied the connection, of course.

"They were clearly playing with me," she said. "I decided to shock them as much as they were shocking me." (1)

"In this video, there are two actors who come into our office and who were messing with us. And our employee was messing with them," said California ACORN head organizer Amy Schur said. (2)

As usual, the mainstream media outlets are largely ignoring the story. Only lately have they covered any controversy by ACORN. A search of transcripts through Monday at NBC, CBS and MSNBC revealed no national TV coverage of the growing ACORN scandal. CNN and ABC, meanwhile, have run some segments on the matter, including a quick mention during Saturday's "Good Morning America." (3)

The police paid attention, though. Since she claimed on the video to have killed her husband, two San Bernardino police homicide detectives interviewed her at the office Tuesday. Police said they have been in contact with Kaelke's former husbands and the homicide claims do not appear accurate.

"At this point, we can't prove that there's anything to her statement," said San Bernardino police Sgt. Dave Dillon. "We can't show that ever happened." (4)

All of the videos of the ACORN offices have been posted on YouTube and on BigGovernment.com.
