Brandon Darby writes about his experiences in New Orleans after Katrina. He was on the ground, helping out people who needed it through the group Common Ground Relief. He worked with others to help clean up New Orleans.
Then ACORN came back into town. They hadn't been seen anywhere during the clean-up. They demanded that he let them be the leaders and worked to destroy him when he refused. He was called a racist, despite helping mostly black people and working with a black pastor, and despite the lack of evidence to the contrary. But that is ACORN's method of operation.
Eventually he went to work for the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force. He helped uncover a bomb plot at the Republican Convention. He worked to testify against the two men. What was the response of ACORN's founder, Wade Rathke? "Still this FBI informant thing is a little past the pale. One thing to disagree, but it’s a whole different thing to rat on folks, or, even worse, as some now allege, to try and mousetrap people." That's right, these two domestic terrorists try to blow up Republicans and Wade Rathke says it's too bad they got caught. The quote can be found here.
And this is the agency that is receiving millions of dollars from the Democrats, folks.
